Cambridge United fans are to be advised of the Club’s position regarding supporter safety and the return of crowds at the Abbey Stadium…
Whilst the Club is delighted that supporters are allowed to once again support the U’s at the Abbey Stadium with no social-distancing restrictions, the well-being and safety of our fans remains of paramount importance.
For the home going forward this season, supporters will be encouraged - but not required - to wear face coverings inside the stadium.
Data on COVID-19 cases across the country show that the pandemic is not behind us, and wearing a face covering could reduce any risk for yourself and for your fellow supporters.

Supporters will also be asked to respect one another’s personal space wherever possible and to use the hand-sanitizing stations that are located around the Abbey Stadium.
At this point, whilst we do not envisage COVID Certification to be required for entry, supporters are encouraged to have their vaccinations. All guidance will be reviewed over the coming weeks and future communications will be published in due course.
For assistance, advice or any queries whilst at the ground, supporters are advised to speak to a matchday steward.
