Planet Super League is an initiative set up with the upcoming COP26 Global Climate Change summit in mind and it has 49 clubs battling it out for to be named champions.
The competition challenges everyone to complete small simple activities that will have a positive impact on the environment, and it’s with a twist: every action you take, you’re scoring goals for your favourite football club.
Our journey so far has been a fruitful one and after winning our group stage, we are currently in the middle of a keenly contested semi-final against Lincoln City. You can track the live results by clicking here.
Here is how you, our fantastic supporters, can help us lift the Planet Super League trophy at the end of the month:
- Go to www.planetsuperleague.com and sign up (it takes less than 2 minutes) – make sure to select Cambridge United as your club!
- Have a look through the activities and decide which ones you would like to do
- Complete the activities and upload them onto the website (most require some evidence – a simple selfie or screenshot from your phone will suffice in 99% of cases!)
- Keep up to date with our progress by clicking ‘Live’ on the website; watching on as our goals total grows and grows each week!
