The Week Ahead: Stevenage, MK and Replay Tickets

It's another double gameweek for the U's as local trips to Stevenage and Milton Keynes await...

First up, United will aim to top their Papa John's Trophy group with a positive result against Stevenage on Tuesday, with both tickets and iFollow Match Passes available. Mark Bonner is set to ring the changes for the fixture, and supporters can catch his thoughts later this morning following his pre-match press conference.

The U's return to league action on Saturday to take on MK Dons and another big travelling contingent will be making the short journey. Over 1,100 away tickets have already been sold and tickets go off sale at 9pm on Thursday from cufctickets.com.

In other ticketing news, prices will be released and tickets will go on sale at midday today for the Emirates FA Cup First Round replay against Northampton Town. The tie will take place at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday 16th November at 7:45pm.

The U18s are through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup after a penalty shoot-out victory against Southend United last Thursday. An away tie at Corinthian-Casuals in the Second Round follows, with the date due to be confirmed later this week. The Youth Team play away at Leyton Orient this Saturday.

A 2-1 defeat to Loughborough Lightning saw Cambridge United Women exit the League Cup on Sunday but the opportunity to bounce back in the best possible way awaits with a Women's FA Cup tie away at Chesham on Sunday 14th November at 1pm.

Cambridge United Community Trust are continuing their mental health work in secondary schools this week, delivering Mind Your Head in Northstowe Secondary College for the first time.

Alongside this, our new Teammates project kicks off at North Cambridge Academy which is taking place in partnership with local charity, Cambridge Acorn Project. ‘Mind Your Head’ has improved mental health literacy of thousands of young people across a number of schools in the area and has been recognised on a national level by an all-party parliamentary group for a fit and healthy childhood.

The ‘Teammates’ project is for small groups, designed to empower young people to improve their mental health through engaging in sport and discussions with positive role models external to school staff.
