Following the early May Bank Holiday, Cambridge United head into the final week of the Sky Bet League Two season...
The U's face Grimsby Town at the Abbey Stadium on Saturday knowing that a draw or win would secure promotion to Sky Bet League One. The only way to watch the action is with an iFollow Match Pass - available to buy now.
It was a successful weekend for Cambridge United's young professionals, as Ben Worman made his debut for Weymouth in a 4-2 National League victory at Woking, in which fellow U's teammate and loanee Andy Dallas added another two goals to his impressive Weymouth tally of 10 goals in 19 matches. Weymouth face promotion challengers, Sutton United this Saturday.
Meanwhile, yesterday was a proud day for Lewis Simper as the 20 year old made his Wembley debut, starting for Concord Rangers in the FA Trophy Final. Unfortunately his side couldn't claim the silverware, as they went down 1-0 against Harrogate Town.
The U21s also wrap up their season this weekend, with Saturday's game away at Luton Town being their final one of 2020/21. Last time out, they drew 2-2 at Lincoln City with goals from Joe Neal and 15 year old Glenn McConnell.
