Jack Iredale has been named the Cambridge United PFA Community Champion of the Year for 2020/21…
Iredale has been an enthusiastic supporter of Cambridge United’s Community efforts this season and is a passionate advocate for diabetes awareness, using his platform to communicate a message of resilience for those who are diagnosed with the condition.
Cambridge United Community Trust Manager Sam Gomersall said, “Jack has been a fantastic presence since coming into the Club and has shown a keen desire to support the wider work of Cambridge United in our community.
“Jack was selected as Cambridge United’s PFA Community Champion because of the way he has embraced his platform to connect with our supporters who are diabetic. Whether that is him speaking at a fans forum about the issue or sending a signed shirt to a young fan who, like him, has diabetes.
The Club would like to congratulate Jack on winning this award and thank him for his ongoing support of Cambridge United Community Trust.
