“Firstly I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all our fans who have supported the Club so brilliantly over the past 18 months. Your commitment to Cambridge United has played an integral part in the Club’s success and without your financial backing in the form of Season Tickets and iFollow support, the picture for us would have been a lot bleaker than where we currently stand.

“We said a few weeks ago that we were going to hold back the sale of Season Tickets until after the government made its planned statement on 14 June on whether lockdown measures would end on 21 June. Following the announcement by the Prime Minister yesterday, we have as much certainty as we are likely to get that restrictions will, substantially, be lifted on 19th July.

“As previously indicated, we have increased prices this year and we hope supporters will understand the reasons why. The rise is around 10%, reduced to 5% for the 1,530 who bought Season Tickets last season and this change in the pricing structure will go some way to meeting the increased cost of playing in League One.

“Clearly we can offer no guarantees as to whether supporters will be allowed into watch games throughout the coming season, but it is looking positive that we will all be REUNITED at the Abbey for what promises to be an exciting season. In the event that we have to play behind closed doors, iFollow passes and pro-rata refunds will be made available.

“Thank you for your continued support. See you in League One.”

Following the loss of revenue that the Club suffered last season due to the COVID pandemic, in addition to the rising costs that come with promotion and the desire to put out a team that will compete at a higher level, Season Ticket prices have increased for the first time in four seasons.

Banner COVID.png

All supporters who purchase a Season Ticket do so with the understanding that the Club is unable to offer a guarantee that games won’t be played Behind-Closed-Doors or that attendances won't be restricted.

It is the Club’s hope and belief that this won’t be the case, but in the event that the situation regarding COVID-19 changes and supporters are unable to attend games at the Abbey Stadium, then iFollow Match Passes will be provided to Season Ticket Holders, including the option of Pro-Rata Refunds.

The Club will initially be selling Season Tickets in an unrestricted manner, with the hope that full crowds will be allowed to return by August. Should this not be the case and Social Distancing is required, then the Club reserves the right to relocate Season Ticket Holder seats.
