iFollow | EFL ISSUE APOLOGY AND OFFER COMPENSATION TO FANS AFFECTED BY SATURDAY’S ISSUE

Cambridge United would like to update supporters following the technical issues that affected the streaming of our home game with Barrow on Saturday afternoon.

EFL Digital have issued an apology to the Club and have emailed all supporters affected.  EFL Digital are working with Stream AMG to understand what went wrong and ensure it does not happen again.

EFL Digital have offered the following compensation to United fans affected.

  • Any fan that purchased a match pass and was unable to watch any part of the match will be fully refunded.
  • Any fan that purchased the match, missed the first 10 minutes of action, but was able to watch the rest of the game will be refunded 50% of their match pass fee.
  • Any Season Ticket holder that was trying to view via a code or through the email matching process will receive a code for a future Away match.

EFL Digital will be in touch with fans affected via email this week to explain how a refund can be obtained.

The Club would like to make clear that all of the above offers will not impact the revenue generated by the Club, and we would like to thank our fantastic fanbase who continue to get behind the team in excellent numbers week in, week out.

Cambridge United would also like to apologise to the supporters affected and are grateful to EFL Digital and Stream AMG for working quickly to resolve the issues.
