Need somebody to talk to during these times of isolation? Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and speak to one of mental health first aid trained staff members on our Community Careline today!
At Cambridge United, we are extremely proud to be a mentally healthy Football Club.
We understand during times of self-isolation and with the uncertainty currently surrounding the situation with COVID-19, that people may well be struggling to cope with their mental health and find it difficult to maintain their well-being.
The Cambridge United staff on our careline have all received either Youth Mental Health First Aid Training or undergone Mental Health Awareness Training (On Your Side), both delivered by national mental health charity MIND.
Equally, we are also able to pass on contact details to other excellent local organisations and support services such as CPSL Mind. So if you are a local resident and need a friendly chat, please give us a call.
Our community careline is available 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday on 01223 632 129, and is here for anyone who wishes to share their experience or needs to chat about their mental well-being.
Furthermore, local residents who require practical help with tasks such as shopping, walking the dog, picking a prescription, or even homeschooling – the staff on our community careline are here to help.
Whatever your situation, and whatever you feel like sharing. We are Here for U. We are United For Cambridge.
