Feel like you need to talk somebody during these challenging times? Our new Community Careline is now live for everybody and anybody who simply feels they need to talk to someone. We’re #HereForU’s!
On Friday, we announced our ‘Here for U’s’ community scheme which set out the Club’s plan to provide practical, emotional and physical support to the city of Cambridge during this uniquely difficult period.
As part of the practical and emotional support elements of the scheme, today we have launched a new community careline. The careline can be used by local residents stuck in self-isolation who may need support with everyday needs, such as picking up prescriptions, shopping or walking the dog.
Equally these times can prove to be a lonely experience for many across the city, and it’s therefore extremely important we all have somebody to talk to and share our experiences with. So if you simply need a friendly chat, don’t hesitate to call us. We can also provide details to additional support services.
Today Head Coach Mark Bonner is manning the phone as we launch the new service.
If you require the use of the careline, please call 01223 632 129. This is available Monday – Friday from 10am to 4pm.
