The Amber Army have overwhelmingly responded to the Football Club’s call to be #CambAndProud following the release of the new 2020/21 replica shirts, with over 700 shirts now snapped up by United supporters!
Earlier this month Cambridge United began by unveiling the new replica home shirt, once again produced by technical partner hummel, which this year features an eye catching amber and black striped stripes design. The Football Club urged U’s fans to adorn their colours, reminding them of what the shirt represented both on and off the field in relation to the continued increase in work to support our local community by Cambridge United Community Trust.
The Amber Army were extremely quick to show how #CambAndProud they truly were, with over 200 home shirts purchased in only the first two hours of pre-sales.
Since then Cambridge United have also released the brand new 2020/21 away shirt, which pays homage to the Club’s popular 1998/99 strip, with its half and half dark blue, light blue design. This too has struck the perfect note with United supporters, who have now surpassed the 700 mark for both replica kits.
The arrival this week of the new hummel stock has meant that supporters who pre-ordered across the city and beyond have begun to receive delivery of their new replica shirts.
