Ian Darler and his team have found a unique way to thank all the NHS staff and emergency services from Cambridge United F.C.
Commenting on his work, Stadium Manager, Ian Darler, said:
"During my 40 years at Cambridge United I was very fortunate to work with all the emergency services for 30 years whilst acting as the Football Club match day safety officer and the Doctors,Ambulance Officers, Paramedics , Police and Fire service who all worked together when an emergency situation occurred be it a supporter having a heart attack or stroke or other condition.
I have always been amazed by the quality of service all the staff provide whilst putting aside their own safety I feel very privileged to have worked alongside so many outstanding people.
I felt that we had to say thanks to all the very brave caring NHS staff and emergency service staff for working in such challenging times."
