REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

The Club have been working closely with the Royal Anglian Regiment and Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force to stage a special pre-match ceremony for Cambridge United’s players, staff and supporters to mark our respects collectively to those who gave their today for our tomorrow.

Pre-match, a corps of drums from Cambridgeshire Cadet Force will play the players out of the tunnel, before a host of special guests from the Royal Anglians Regiment take to the field alongside buglers and standard bearers as we collectively observe the laying of a wreath, the playing of the Last Post and a period of two minutes silence.

Full details about the Club’s Remembrance memorial, including a bucket collection and special match programme, can be found by clicking here.

FANZONE OPEN

The FanZone will be open for Saturday’s fixture between 1:30pm-2:45pm providing supporters with the ideal area to soak up the pre-match Abbey atmosphere. Located at the rear of the South Habbin, tomorrow the Teqball Tour visits with fans able to try out their skills on a Teqball Table and one of the world’s fastest growing sports!

As always a range of hot and cold food items, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink will be available in the Fan Zone, whilst Marvin the Moose will also be on hand to provide entertainment for Junior U’s.

FREE to enter, the FanZone is open to home and away supporters. Make sure you check it out!
