The season’s finale is quickly approaching and official Cambridge United FC Kit Sponsor Mick George Ltd has a selection of fantastic giveaways planned to raise the excitement level for U’s fans attending the last home league game against Morecambe on Saturday.
The traditional ‘Skip Challenge’ half-time entertainment will take place, however there is a slight twist that is sure to grab the attentions of willing participants. For this fixture only, Mick George are offering five supporters the chance to take part, rather than the normal three, but more importantly, they’re offering a guaranteed £250 cash prize for the winner.
The winner will be the person who successfully chips the ball in to the Skip, and should more than one entrant achieve this feat, then the money will be split equally. If none of the five supporters manage to land the ball in the Skip, the participant who gets it closest will be the winner (Decision at the discretion of a Mick George representative).
If that wasn’t enough, representatives from Mick George, the Cambridge United Academy and two first-team players will be venturing around the Abbey Stadium ahead of Kick Off giving away over 1,000 Cambridge United FC and Mick George Ltd, co-branded footballs, to spectators.
