AWAY TRAVEL | United to subsidise FA Cup travel

CAMBRIDGE United are pleased to confirm that the Club will be offering subsidised away travel prices of just £15 for the FA Cup First Round tie at Guiseley.

With the fixture having been scheduled for Sunday 11th November at 12:45pm, United supporters would find it difficult to make kick-off using public transport without staying overnight. The Club hugely appreciates the fantastic travelling support the team receives and understand that it is an inconvenient kick-off time for a number of our fans, so

United’s Chief Operating Officer, Henry Comfort, said: “We are extremely proud of our supporters and, recognizing that the kick-off time for this fixture could make it extremely difficult for many to travel, we are delighted to subsidize the cost of our coach travel service. Hopefully this will help to enable as many U’s fans as possible to cheer us on in the FA Cup, helping the boys to get us to the next round.”

Coach places will cost just £15 for the fixture, departing Ely (Barton Rd) at 6:45am and the Abbey Stadium at 7:30am.
