Cambridge United can today confirm the Club’s full pre-season schedule of friendlies in preparation for the 2018/19 Sky Bet League Two season, which includes the visit of Championship side Millwall to the Abbey Stadium.
United will host Neil Harris’ Lions on Saturday 21st July (K.O. 3:00pm), as the U’s look to test themselves in the lead up to the upcoming campaign.
The first team squad will report back for pre-season testing and training the week commencing 25th June, and then kick off their schedule of fixtures with the annual trip to St Neots Town on Saturday 7th July.
That match is quickly followed with a Cambridge derby against the lilywhites of Cambridge City on Tuesday 10th July (7:45pm), before travelling to Royston Town the following evening and Chelmsford City on Saturday 14th July.
Joe Dunne’s side face Billericay Town on Friday 20th July at New Lodge the evening before United return to the Abbey Stadium for the first time in the clash with Millwall.
Meanwhile the U’s will also face National League sides Ebbsfleet United and Dagenham & Redbridge, before completing their pre-season schedule with a pair of fixtures on Saturday 28th July against Bishop’s Stortford and Newmarket Town.
