Cambridge United are pleased to announce that the Club have agreed to move the kick off time for Saturday’s pre-season opener with St Neots Town to 12:30pm, in order to avoid England’s World Cup quarter-final at 3:00pm.
The U’s were contacted by the Saints last month with plans to bring forward the game should England progress into the quarter-final stage, and following last night’s dramatic win we can confirm that supporters will now be able to watch both fixtures.
Following the conclusion of the opening friendly for Joe Dunne’s men, United fans will be able watch the England match live from the bar facility at the Premier Plus Stadium.
Tickets for Saturday’s match against St Neots Town will be available on the gate on match day, so head down and enjoy a double header.
