Get the very first glimpse of Cambridge United’s 2018/19 third kit at this Sunday’s Open Day at the Abbey Stadium, as the U’s first team officially unveil next season’s alternative kit!
Joe Dunne’s men will be revealing the new strip before taking to the pitch for an open training session at the Abbey this weekend, with gates opening at 11am.
As well the unveiling, the Open Day which is FREE to attend, will also give U’s fans the opportunity to meet all of the first team squad and coaching staff, who will be available for autographs and photographs throughout the day!
Meanwhile, Head Coach Joe Dunne and Assistant Head Coach Mark Bonner will be answering questions from the Amber Army in a fans forum at 2pm in the Premier Travel. We are also delighted to announce that Cambridge United Women’s FC will also be in attendance with coaches Kevin Hoover and Sean Greygoose, also speaking to the Amber Army shortly before 2pm.
There will be plenty to keep fans young and old entertained in the fan zone, which will include activities from clubs partners Mick George and Premier Travel, a show car from Barons BMW, A coconut shy from 100 Year of Coconuts, face painters, an ice cream van and more!
Meanwhile, we’ll be kicking off a beer festival at midday so you can continue to soak up this beautiful British summer in the glorious shadow of the Abbey.
ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR U’S SEASON TICKET HOLDERS – EXCLUSIVE OPEN DAY ACCESS FOR JUNIOR U’S!
Exclusive Junior U’s Meet the Players session – In the home changing room, straight after the conclusion of the training session between 12:00pm and 12:15pm. Junior U’s will also get the chance to watch the session from the dugouts and be the first to meet the players on the day.

11:00am – Third Kit reveal by Cambridge United first team.
11:00am-12:00pm - Open Training Session for fans on the pitch, which will take place with U’s first team adorning new third Kit. EXCLUSIVE ACCESS - Junior U’s season ticket holders will have the ability to watch session from the dugouts.
12:00pm-12:15pm – EXCLUSIVE ACCESS - Junior U’s will be given the first opportunity to meet the U’s first team squad immediately after training session concludes, within the home dressing room.
12:00pm - 17:00pm - Fan zone & Beer festival open outside the Abbey Arms, located at the rear of the Main Stand.
13:00pm -13:30pm - Full first team squad player signing at the Club Shop (The club shop will be open from 10:30am with the Amber Army able to secure their season tickets, new replica shirts and CUFC items throughout the day)
13:30pm - 14:00pm - New players and Gary Deegan will be in attendance for a tour of the Coconuts Museum within the Supporter’s Club, whilst the remainder of the first team squad will continue with the Club Shop signing session.
14:00pm -14:05pm - Q&A with Kevin Hoover & Sean Greygoose from Cambridge United Women’s FC.
