Cambridge United are delighted to announce that the South Stand will be known as the Mead Plant and Grab stand with immediate effect.
The family owned company, whose services include plant hire, muck & grab-away, drop crossings, underground drainage and aggregate deliveries have signed a commercial partnership with the Club to secure the naming rights of the South Stand.
The partnership will see Mead Plant and Grab’s colours and logos emblazoned on the front and back of the Stand while all designated South Stand days will become Mead Plant and Grab Stand days.
Mead Plant and Grab Director Richard Mead: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Club for a number of reasons. Firstly, we are long-term supporters of the U’s, but we’ve also seen first-hand how other companies have benefitted by forming a commercial partnership with Cambridge United to increase the awareness of their brand. We’re really excited about seeing our colours and logo prominently displayed here at the Abbey Stadium.”
Head of Partnerships at Cambridge United, Nick Fairbairn: “This is another really exciting commercial partnership for the Club. We are delighted to be partnering with a highly-respected, family run company such as Mead Plant and Grab. It’s brilliant that they see us as a way of helping them take their business to the next level by increasing awareness of their brand and introducing them to our other Club partners’ as well as the wider business community.”
