Last Friday saw pupils from almost 20 local primary schools vying it out in the EFL Kids Cup at Bottisham Village College, with the winner earning the chance to represent the U’s in the League Two South finals at Swindon Town in March.
Following a fiercely competed tournament, Milton Road Primary School prevailed over St Pauls Primary School in a dramatic final that could only separate the sides via a penalty shoot-out.
They will now be the U’s representatives in the 2017/18 EFL Kids Cup, with the next phase of the competition seeing them take on the representatives from the likes of Barnet FC, Luton Town Colchester United, Coventry City and Stevenage.
The EFL Kids Cup concludes with a showpiece final taking place at Wembley Stadium!
