Cambridge United have agreed an initial one-month loan with Hampton & Richmond Borough that will allow 18-year old Harry Darling to continue building his experience of senior men’s football.
Darling, who cemented his future at the Cambs Glass Stadium when signing an extended four-year deal with the U’s last month, will switch to the National League South side until 7th October.
The arrival of George Taft from Mansfield Town on transfer deadline day has allowed the Club to seek further senior opportunities for Darling, with the young centre-back having already made two appearances for Shaun Derry's first team so far this season.
