Greg Taylor is the main feature article within Saturday’s match day programme, and you can take a sneak peek at what the centre-back has had to say as well as what else features in this weekend’s edition.
The U’s centre back has been answering speaking following his return from a head injury, and has signed 30 copies of the match programme that will be randomly distributed across the ground.
PREVIEW:
The versatile defender has continued in 2017/18 where he left off last season, returning to a role in the middle of the U’s back line alongside captain Leon Legge and has shown himself to be as reliable as ever.
Taylor says he’s been delighted with his form so far and has strong aspirations to continue performing well at centre half.
He said: “I am really enjoying the new role at centre back. I said at the start of the season that I have been aiming to nail down a place in the middle of defence and I have found myself playing there quite a lot this season. So things have gone well.
“I’m relishing every second I can get out on to the pitch and hope that I can continue to perform well enough to cement my place at centre back.
“Our aims are simple, keep the goals out at the back to give the forward players a chance of winning us the game. Up to this point we’ve done well collectively with plenty of clean sheets, and that really is the key. Stick together!”
