Cambridge United will travel to Rodney Parade to face Newport County in the Second Round of the 2017/18 Emirates FA Cup.
Having beaten Sutton United on Sunday afternoon on home soil to progress into the second round for a fifth straight year, the U’s were picked out of the draw against fellow League Two rivals Newport County, following 11 consecutive home draws in the competition.
The sides have not met in the Emirates FA Cup since United defeated the Welsh outfit 2-1 through a replay 64 years ago.
The game will be played on the weekend of 2nd-3rd December, with ticket details to follow in due course.
