SIMON DOBBIN NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT THIS SATURDAY!

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL CAMBRIDGE UNITED SUPPORTERS, SIMON DOBBIN AND HIS FAMILY NEED YOUR SUPPORT AT THIS SATURDAY'S BENEFIT MATCH WITH SOUTHEND UNITED!

EVERY PENNY RAISED FROM THE MATCH WILL GO TOWARDS SIMON'S ONGOING CARE NEEDS.

Simon is one of our own and like any supporter, simply went to watch the team he supports before having his and his family's life changed forever. He deserves your support, so let's show him, his wife Nicole and his daughter Emily the full support of the Cambridge United family.

Simon was left brain damaged after a brutal attack in Southend two years ago, having spent the afternoon supporting the U's following the fixture at Roots Hall in March 2015.

Simon made an emotional return to the Cambs Glass Stadium last October for the first time since the assault, when he attended the U's Sky Bet League Two fixture with Portsmouth and was welcomed on to the pitch with a standing ovation before the game. Watch his return here.

The scheduled pre-season friendly with the Shrimpers gives the players, staff and supporters of both Clubs the chance to join together in a mark of solidarity for Simon and his family.

Match Tickets (K.O. 3:00PM) are available online, in-store and by calling 01223 566 500.
