BACK THE U’S FUTSAL TEAM THIS SUNDAY IN THE SUPER LEAGUE PLAY-OFF PUSH
Cambridge United Futsal Team are looking to continue their impressive debut season in Super League this Sunday, as they face Sheffield in a crucial clash at Cambridge University Sports Centre in their hunt for the play-offs – Show your support by backing the U’s!
The U’s currently sit in fourth position in the country’s first tier of Futsal and take on Sheffield for the second time in a week – winning the reverse fixture 7-1 – in the final home game of the regular season this coming Sunday (KO 3pm).
The Amber Army are urged to head along to Cambridge University Sports Centre (Phillipa Fawcett Drive) to give Luis Mendonca’s side their full backing.
As well as a superb season in Super League, United also played a friendly against the England national team in October, whilst the likes of George Harlow and Monty Bouttell continue to pick up individual accolades following their exciting development.
Harlow, who is a product of the U’s Futsal Development Centres, has recently made his first three Super League appearances for the first team and his performances have warranted a call-up FA Midlands Under 19’s squad.
Meanwhile Bouttell, who featured throughout United’s promotion winning season last year and has continue to shine during the U’s current Super League campaign, recently went one step further by receiving an international call up for England’s Under 19’s.
We caught up with Monty last week, check out his interview here:
