MATCH PREVIEW | DONCASTER ROVERS - HOME

Cambridge United host Sky Bet League Two leaders Doncaster Rovers at the Cambs Glass Stadium this evening (KO 7:45pm), with Shaun Derry’s side looking to extend their three game unbeaten run.

United have bounced back during the second half of February with consecutive victories over Newport County and Barnet, as well as a hard fought point with Yeovil Town on the road which keeps the U’s within touching distance of the top seven.

Luke Berry’s second half strike, his 15th goal of the season, ensured United left the Hive Stadium with three points on Saturday afternoon and approach this evening’s encounter in a good run of form.

Medy Elito and Greg Taylor both returned from injury against the Bees at the weekend and look likely to continue making their full recoveries tonight.

As for United’s South Yorkshire opponents, Darren Ferguson’s men look to be on course for a quick return to Sky Bet League One after dropping out of the third tier of English football last season.

Rovers currently sit top of the pile in League Two, although they have not won in their previous five games with their last victory coming over Yeovil exactly a month to the day.

Nevertheless, Doncaster will still pose a huge threat to the U’s, none more so than John Marquis the Dons’ top goal scorer this season (19). The striker’s first goal of the season split the sides in a 1-0 win for the hosts at the Keepmoat Stadium in August.

Doncaster hold a narrow lead in the overall Head-to-head records between the sides:
