Watch the moment young William Labourne received his prize from Uche Ikpeazu, as the Cambridge United striker handed over a pair of his signed match-worn boots at Swavesey Soccer School.
William had been entered into the random draw for the prize by securing his place for the three day Christmas course ahead of the early booking deadline last month.
This morning as part of the player visits across all six Soccer School venues at Swavesey, Coleridge, Comberton, Impington, Sawston and Chesterton, first team stars Liam O’Neil and Jake Carroll were joined by Ikpeazu who hand delivered the prize himself to William, who described how he was “lost for words.”
Cambridge United Soccer Schools are fun-filled open-access football courses delivered by the U’s FA qualified development coaches every school half term for girls and boys. To find out more email cuyd.co.uk or call 01223 632 770.
