#FOOTBALLFAMILYDAY AUCTION RAISES £16,615 FOR SHAUN AND JOEY

TWO FINAL ITEMS AVAILABLE FROM #FOOTBALLFAMILYDAY AUCTION

Cambridge United are delighted to announce that Sunday's auction at the #FootballFamilyDay for Shaun Whiter and Joey Abbs raised a fantastic £16,615, with two final items now available.

The fundraising auction, which saw the signed Lionel Messi shirt sold for £2,100 and a signed Gareth Bale shirt fetch £1,600, rounded off the #FootballFamilyDay as the local footballing community rallied together for Shaun and Joey.

Meanwhile, the gloves in which Cambridge United number one Will Norris made the incredible double penalty save against Accrington Stanley two weeks ago,also raised £1,000.

However, not to be outdone, legendary Italian striker Francesco Totti has also sent a signed Roma shirt. Whilst the current England Football squad have sent an additional signed shirt ahead of their trip to Slovenia this evening, with both items helping to raise additional funds.
 
A reserve price has been placed on both items which will be available until 7pm on Friday, with those interested in registering a bid will be able to do so here from tonight!
