SEASON TICKETS SALES AHEAD OF LAST YEAR AS U’S REACH 1,000 MILESTONE

2016/17 SEASON TICKETS HOLDERS

The Amber Army continue to secure their season tickets quicker than 2015, as Cambridge United notch the 1,000th season ticket holder for 2016/17.

Ahead of next week’s renewal deadline, a surge in sales from supporters guaranteeing their place for the 2016/17 campaign has seen United reach the 1000 milestone quicker than this stage last year.

Meanwhile the club has also so far experienced a 10% increase in the number of new season ticket holders securing a spot in advance of the upcoming season.

Since going on sale at the beginning of May, United supporters have made clear their excitement at the prospect of Shaun Derry’s side returning to action in Sky Bet League Two, by heading online, in-store or by calling the ticket office to buy a ticket.

The rush means the club have now cruised past the 1000 mark just over two weeks after the conclusion of the 2015/16 Football League season and under a month since season ticket sales began.
