CAMBRIDGE UNITED THANKS SPONSORS FOR FANTASTIC SUPPORT OVER 2015/16 SEASON

Liz Slack thanks sponsors and partners for successful 2015/16 season

Cambridge United Business Development Operations Manager Liz Slack thanks all club sponsors for their support during the 2015/16 season.

As another season draws to a close it provides me with an opportunity to say an enormous thank you to all our partners and sponsors.

The foundations within the Commercial side of the club have been significantly strengthened during the 2015/16 season thanks to the continued support of our main sponsors Mick George and Sepura and through the development of new relationships with a number of leading companies within the city.

Mick George has once again supported us as our front of our shirt sponsor for the 2015/16 season and it is with immense pride that we look forward to walking out for our first game of the 2016/17 season with their logo emblazoned on the chests or all our players from our youngest academy through to our first team.

Sepura, as our training kit sponsor and back of shirt sponsor are also continuing their support for the new season and we are proud to confirm that their sponsorship will continue into 2016-2017 season.

The support of these two companies extends far beyond one of a financial benefit and their guidance and involvement in many aspects of our community projects is invaluable to the club and a personal thank you to Jon Stump and Stuart Costello from Mick George and Steve Chamberlain, Rebecca Greenall and Ben Yelton from Sepura for all their contribution during this season.

We would also like to thank our other partners from the 2015/16 season:

Absolute Sports Travel
Beach Electrical Engineering & Tree Services Ltd
ELMS BMW
ERMS (UK) Ltd
Xtreme Events
Inc. London
Greene King
Premier Travel
Quy Mill
Vindis

And say welcome to three new sponsors who have joined us the end of this season and who we are looking forward to working with in the new season:

Mundipharma International Limited
AstraZencea
Bidwells

We close out this season sponsorship news with the exiting announcement about our new Stadium sponsor and executive hospitality lounge sponsor.   We would like to thank Adam Eagle, Managing Director of Cambs Glass Ltd for the significant investment in Cambridge United which sees the company extend their existing sponsorship of the club’s dugouts here at the stadium.  The partnership deal that has been agreed is structured in a way that provides enormous benefits to the club and it will ensure that Cambs Glass will be associated with Cambridge United for the long-term, this is something which we are delighted to announce.

Thank you to all our Match Sponsors, Match Ball Sponsors and to everyone who has visited us in our hospitality rooms during the 2015/16 season, whether it was at a home League game, Cup fixture or indeed at one of our many exciting Academy fixtures this year.  The new rooms have been an incredible success and feedback has been very positive. We look forward to welcoming more of you to enjoy a unique and fun experience on match days in 2016/17.

Our strategy and our sponsors here at Cambridge United share one common objective. To make Cambridge United Football Club bigger, better and more successful for the benefit of the fans, the city and the community that it serves.
