CAMBRIDGE UNITED RE-SIGN MAX CLARK ON SIX MONTH LOAN

CAMBRIDGE UNITED RE-SIGN MAX CLARK ON SIX MONTH LOAN

Max Clark has returned to Cambridge United for a second spell on loan at the Cambs Glass Stadium, after the U’s agree a six month deal with Hull City.

The 20-year old made his professional debut against Bristol Rovers whilst on loan with Shaun Derry’s side during the closing stages of the 2015/16 season, and went to feature nine times in amber and black.

The youngster, who is a product of the Tiger’s youth system, showed his versatility during that period, performing well in both central midfield and at left back for the U’s.

Clark was an ever-present during United’s eight game unbeaten finish to the campaign and will return to the city to continue plying his trade with the U’s until January.

Cambridge United boss Shaun Derry is pleased to have acquired Clark’s services once more and said: “I’m delighted to once again work with Max and welcome him back to Cambridge United for a second loan.

“Max made a huge impression on us all last season, with not only his performances but his appreciation and appetite for our Football Club.

“As with all our signings, he fits the profile and mould of player we have created here.”

Max will return to action for the U’s in pre-season, including the exciting clashes with Ipswich Town (23rd July, 3pm) and Aston Villa (26th July, 7:30pm) at the Cambs Glass Stadium. Tickets for both games are available to buy online, in-store and over the phone by calling 01223 566 500.
