THE U’S WILL KEEP FIGHTING FOR A TOP SEVEN FINISH WHILST IT’S MATHEMATICALLY POSSIBLE SAYS CAMBRIDGE UNITED DEFENDER JOSH COULSON.

United may be five points off seventh place in Sky Bet League Two, but a quick turnaround in games and the prospect of playing in front of a rocking Amber Army this evening is more than enough motivation to keep pushing for the play-offs for Josh Coulson.

He stated: “While we still have the chance of making the play-offs, we’ll all keep fighting to try and make it possible. It is great to be at this point in the season and still have something to play for, every club wants to be in that position.

“It doesn’t feel like we have had a Tuesday night game in a long while and they are always exciting to be involved in. Every player wants to be playing in matches, so the Saturday-Tuesday turnaround in games is great.

“The game with Morecambe is a nice opportunity to put right the gripes we took from the Carlisle match.”
