Following Saturday’s victory over Newport County, the U’s return to the Abbey Stadium for two crucial Sky Bet League Two fixtures against Carlisle United and Morecambe sat just three points outside the play-offs!The U’s return to home soil this Saturday against the Cumbrians, who sit one point above United in ninth, for a vital tussle that could see Shaun Derry’s men move one step closer to their aims of making the play-offs.
Meanwhile, a quick turnaround in games will see the U’s back at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday (K.O. 7:45pm) against Morecambe for the second match of an important week for United.
