NCS
Whether its plunging down a Zipwire from 100 feet, learning about the day to day experiences of a local police officer or getting out into the local area making a real difference, the NCS has something for every 15-17 year old!
This unique programme runs through the summer holidays and starts on July 25th. The adventure begins with a five day residential trip to an outward-bound activity centre in Norfolk from 25/07/16 - 29/07/16.
The following week consists of a five day residential, staying at a local University in Cambridge. During this week participants will take part in interactive workshops with local companies and organizations, developing a range of skills that employers and universities look for.
The next step starts on the 8th August when the teams will have a week to plan their social action projects at Cambridge United’s Abbey Stadium. Finally the groups will complete their 30 hours of planning and delivery of their social action project before graduating the NCS course at the end of the summer!
