NCS OPEN EVENING AT THE ABBEY

Luke Berry, Fifa 16 and Pizza at NCS open evening

Cambridge United are inviting 15-17 years old to an NCS open evening at the Abbey Stadium on Monday 12th October, with U’s midfielder Luke Berry set to attend!

The club will open the doors to those interested in the first course of the National Citizen Service programme, which Cambridge United will be delivering later this month.

The evening’s entertainment will take place between 5:00pm -6:30pm and includes a FIFA 16 tournament, free pizza and even an appearance from Cambridge United first team star Luke Berry, as well as an opportunity learn more about the NCS programme.

The government initiative which is run in conjunction with the Football League Trust, is a way for 15 to 17 year olds living in England and Northern Ireland to make extraordinary friendships, learn important life skills and create unforgettable memories.

NCS aims at boosting participant’s personal and social development through a series of phases, Adventure, Future and Making a Difference. The programme is a ‘Once in a Lifetime Opportunity’ that runs three times a year, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
