U'S COMPLETE JORDAN JONES LOAN - GAFFNEY AND CARR LOANED OUT
Cambridge United have today completed the loan signing of Middlesbrough winger Jordan Jones.
The 21-year old is an academy product at the Riverside Stadium, and joins the U’s in search of further Football League experience having made his League Two debut during a loan spell with Hartlepool United in the 2014/15 season.
Jones, who will bring additional competition in the wide midfield positions for Shaun Derry’s side, made 11 appearances last season for the Monkey Hangers and has also played internationally for Northern Ireland’s U17s squad.
He joins the U’s until 2nd January.
Meanwhile Rory Gaffney, 26, will switch to the Memorial Stadium to join Bristol Rovers on a loan deal until January 3rd, whilst striker Danny Carr, 21, joins National League side Aldershot Town until January 9th.
