BRISTOL ROVERS FIXTURE CHANGE

Game re-scheduled to Good Friday

Cambridge United's Sky Bet League Two clash against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium has been re-arranged and will now be played on Friday 25th March, kick off 3pm. 

The game was originally set to take place on Saturday 26th March, but has now been brought forward by 24 hours. 

The amendment means the U's Easter schedule will first see them go toe-to-toe with the Pirates on Good Friday, before returning to the Abbey Stadium for the clash with Oxford United three days later on Monday 28th March.

Ahead of the new season, the Amber Army can take can get an early preview of the new-look United side back in action, with a succession of exciting pre-season fixtures.

First up the U's face newly promoted Premier League side Norwich City at the Abbey Stadium on Friday 17th July, before the Canaries East Anglian rivals Ipswich Town also make the trip across the county border on Tuesday 21st July.

Supporters can also secure their place at United's pre-season tussle against Sky Bet League One outfit Coventry City, with those who purchase a season ticket before the game entitled to attend the clash totally free of charge.

Meanwhile the U’s will bring their pre-season schedule to a conclusion away at Peterborough United on Saturday 1st August, in a match dedicated to former player and manager at both clubs, Chris Turner, who sadly passed away in April.
