Points mean Priority Purchase
Cambridge United have introduced a new away and cup loyalty points scheme ahead of the 2015/16 Football League season.
Supporters that attend Cambridge United fixtures on the road this season will have the opportunity to accumulate points, which will prove valuable when securing tickets for games in high demand at the Abbey Stadium throughout the course of the 2015/16 campaign.
The club are introducing a second tier of priority purchase below season ticket holders for all FA Cup, Capital One Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy fixtures on home soil for the 2015/16 season.
Up to four points will be obtainable for each away fixture in League and Cup this season, with the number of points correlating with the opposition and competition.
Loyalty points will only apply to match tickets purchased from the ticket office and allocated to a supporters account - online, in person or by phone. Points will be issued per match and not per match ticket, for example a supporter who purchases four tickets for Rotherham away will receive two points.
Further point bonuses may be attached to specific matches during the season.
Loyalty points take a minimum of 12 hours to be added to supporters' accounts once a transaction has been made.
The first opportunity for U’s fans to begin their points tally will be Cambridge United’s Capital One Cup clash against Rotherham United on Tuesday 11th August (KO 7.45pm).
Tickets for the encounter in South Yorkshire will be on sale from tomorrow morning, online, in-store and over the phone by calling 01223 566 500.
Tickets are priced as follows:
Adults - £13 pre-match, £15 match day
Concessions - £8 pre-match, £10 match day
13 - 17 year olds - £1 pre-match, £3 match day
U13's - £1
Please note: Cambridge United Football Club reserves the right to apply the use of the loyalty points process to the buying of match tickets for any other fixture outside matches detailed above.
