JOIN THE U’S IN DEFEATING DEMENTIA

Defeat Dementia Walk this Sunday

Cambridge United through its Community Trust are asking fans to show their towards Alzheimer’s Research UK at this Sunday’s Defeat Dementia Walk at Linton Village College.

Alzheimer’s Research UK, headquartered in Cambridge, are hosting the fundraising event with the U’s Community Trust pledging their support towards the worthy cause.

Participants have a choice of a three mile or 10 mile route, both taking in the beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside.

Already a number of Cambridge United fans have signed up for the walk, including the U’s very own Marvin the Moose, and now we are encouraging even more fans to get involved.

Make sure you wear your Amber and Black colours with pride and represent the club, as well as showing your support towards Alzheimer’s Research.

Why your support matters:

- Over 24 million of us have a close friend or family member with dementia
- One in three people over 65 will die with a form of dementia
- Our population is ageing and numbers with dementia are set to rise
- Only research has the power to cure

Head to www.defeatdementiawalk.org  to find out how you can sign up for the fundraising walk on the day.
