Stagecoach kick-off extra time Park&Ride services for FA Cup fourth round match.
EXTRA Park and Ride services are being laid on to help supporters to get to the Cambridge United Stadium for the U’s crunch FA Cup match with Manchester United on Friday.
The additional Stagecoach services for the Newmarket Road Park and Ride site have been put on to help supporters get to the fourth round high profile match which kicks off at 7.55pm.
Up to six additional buses per hour will run from Newmarket Rd Park&Ride site, direct to Cambridge United’s R Costings Abbey Stadium. These additional buses will run from 6.30pm with the last bus departing from the Park&Ride site at 7.45pm.
Buses will then be scheduled to run back to the Park&Ride site once the game is over and passengers can board the bus in Newmarket Road at a boarding point across the Road from the stadium from 9.45pm
The last bus is scheduled to depart from the Abbey Stadium bus stop at 10.45pm.
Cambridgeshire County Councillor Ed Cearns, Vice-Chairman of the Economy and Environment Committee, said: “We are glad to be able to work with Stagecoach to put on these extra Park and Ride services to help people to get to and from the match. We hope everyone has a good time and that the U’s come away with a win."
