MATCH PREVIEW: CAMBRIDGE UNITED VS BARNET

U’s play their final game of 2015 today – Tickets available online and in-store now

Cambridge United play their final fixture of 2015 at the Abbey Stadium at 3pm today, as Shaun Derry’s side go in search of their fifth win in six Sky Bet League Two games.

The U’s will be looking to continue their momentum following Saturday’s 3-0 Boxing Day win over Dagenham & Redbridge, as the Bees visit the city this afternoon.

Both Ryan Donaldson and Greg Taylor left the pitch on Saturday with injuries and may be unlikely to feature for United this afternoon, with Keith Keane also still side lined.

However, the U’s are in a rich vein of form and will be once again backed all the way by another bumper crowd at the Abbey Stadium.

Meanwhile, Barnet arrive at the Abbey having also enjoyed a victory in their Boxing Day tussle, having secured a 2-0 home win over Newport County.

Powerful striker John Akinde registered a brace in the match at the Hive Stadium on Saturday to move his goal tally up to double figures for the season on ten, a number which the U’s will be looking to keep the same this afternoon.

That result moved Barnet up to 17th in the table on 28 points, six places and five points below the U’s.

Tickets for today’s match which kicks off at 3pm are available online until 2:30pm, or from the ticket office right up until kick off.
