Kick off to the new season quickly approaches, with Cambridge United starting their Sky Bet League Two quest this Saturday 8th August (3pm) at the Abbey Stadium. Everyone connected to the club have high expectations and are anticipating an exciting campaign.
To celebrate the eagerly awaited start, Mick George Ltd are providing one lucky young Cambridge United supporter the opportunity to lead the team onto the pitch against Newport County. The selected mascot will join the team on the pitch for a warm up and then lead the team out onto the pitch before kick-off. Other highlights will include meeting the players, having a tour of the changing rooms and collecting autographs and photographs.
The complimentary offer will also include two adult tickets for parents or guardians and one additional ticket for a sibling or friend in the Executive box.
All you have to do to enter the competition is nominate a child you think deserves to be the Cambridge United mascot and say why in the entry. Submit all entries to cufc@mickgeorge.co.uk by 5pm tonight.

*Terms and conditions: The winner will be selected at random from all qualifying entries received before 5pm Wednesday 5th August. The winner is entitled to one mascot package for the Newport County match on Saturday 8th August 2015, this includes 2 adult tickets for parents and guardians and one additional junior ticket for a sibling or friend. The winner will be contacted by 12pm Thursday 6th August 2015.
