Dominant U's held on the road
CAMBRIDGE United were held to a 0-0 draw at Mansfield Town this afternoon.
The U's hit the post in both halves, with Mansfield stopper Sascha Studer also pulling off some fine saves.
United had the better of the first-half after a firey opening 25 minutes, which saw Sandels-White booked for a high challenege on Richard Tait and Kwesi Appiah booked for his reaction to the foul. Tait then enetered the pitch before being instructed to do so and receievd a caution.
The best chance of the half fell to Liam Hughes from a U's corner, the ball bounced around the box before he fired against the post from a tight angle. The hosts had attempts from Adam Fisher who fired wide and Chris Dunn saved comfortably from Jamie Heslop's free-kick.

United were pushing to break the deadlock straight from the restart, Liam Hughes glanced his header wide before Studer got down well to save from Appiah's strike.
On 59 minutes, Appiah turned his man and rifled his shot against the foot of the post before a series of U's corners were cleared by the Stags. Tom Elloitt and Ryan Donaldson both came close before Liam Hughes' strike was tipped round the post by the impressive Studer.
Rakish Bingham had the Stags best chance of the game late on, he found his way through the U's back line and fired way over Dunn's bar from 20 yards.
