Danny Kerrigan appointed Community Trust Manager
CAMBRIDGE graduate Danny Kerrigan has been appointed as the Manager of the Cambridge United Community Trust as a result of the funds raised by Mission 676.
Kerrigan graduated from Fitzwilliam College with a degree in Economics, having played for the Blues in two Varsity matches and subsequently being elected the Cambridge University Football Club Sabbatical Officer.
Kerrigan also has experience in the world of professional football. He was a member of West Bromwich Albion's Academy for five years before making the tough decision to put his studies first and taking up his place at Cambridge.
After a spell in the City working as a Commercial Property Analyst, Kerrigan has returned to Cambridge to begin his new post, succeeding new club CEO Jez George in managing the Trust.
Cambridge United Community Trust Chairman Graham Daniels said, "Cambridge United want to serve the whole community and that is why we took the time to make the right appointment for this crucial role. Thanks to the money raised from the sponsors of Mission 676 we have been able to appoint Danny Kerrigan. We are confident that the combination of his football experience and educational background make him an ideal character to build on the foundations laid by Jez George and to ensure that Cambridge United continue to partner with significant stakeholders to make our city a better place for all it's residents."
