U's defeated on the road
MICHAEL Nelson's late strike was not enough for the U's, who went down 2-1 at Accrington Stanley this afternoon.
Nelson rifled home from 25 yards in the final minute of the game, however the U's couldn't find an equalizer at the Crown Ground.
Kwesi Appiah's deflected shot struck the post early on after debutante Matty Blair had put him in on goal, with Michael Nelson heading the resulting corner wide.
Accrington came into the game midway through the first-half, Mingoia forcing Chris Dunn into a low save before blasting home from a tight angle after O'Sullivan crossed from the right.
Sean Maguire drove his shot against the underside of bar five minutes before the break, before Dunn made another fine stop to deny Mingoia just before half time.

Matt Blair had his shot blocked at the far post after a neat build up from Tom Naylor and Kwesi Appiah as United began the half on the front foot.
However, it was Mingoia again who doubled Accrington's advantage on 72 minutes, his strike taking a cruel deflection, sending the ball spiraling past Chris Dunn.
Nelson's fine strike on 90 minutes gave United a chance, but the hosts held firm for the three points.
