Savills Support #Mission676
SAVILLS has joined Cambridge United Community Trust's #MISSION676 by becoming a Silver Sponsor of Jez George’s incredible challenge.
The Cambridge office of the international real estate adviser will welcome Jez as he returns from his monumental 26 Marathons in 26 days challenge and joins a Champagne Gala Dinner at Cambridge United F.C.
Colin Campbell, a director at Savills Cambridge, comments: “We are very pleased to support the fantastic work of the Youth and Community Trust and help in its mission to enable more and more local young people to be active and participate in sports. We wish Jez all the best on his epic fundraising journey.”
Jez is walking from Newcastle United FC to Norwich City FC, via every English Premier League stadium – an incredible 676 miles – raising funds for Cambridge United’s Community Trust. You can follow Jez’s exploits along the way, via Twitter, Facebook and the U's website.
Jez's mammoth walk will give the Community Trust the financial platform to impact the lives of over 10,000 people in Cambridge’s community through a series of programmes for young offenders, children at risk of exclusion, ethnic minority groups, disability groups, the homeless and people living in areas of deprivation.
Savills has become the latest company to support #Mission676, joining Sepura, Premier Holidays, Mick George, Grosvenor and Wrenbridge. Other groups such as R Costings, MayiClaim, David Lloyd Cambridge and ARM are participating in different fundraising events throughout the mission.
Cambridge United Community Trust Chairman, Graham Daniels, said: “Savills are a company of significant reputation in Cambridgeshire and it is a privilege to partner with them in supporting young people through sport in our community”
