Harrison Dunk signs new two-year contract at United
HARRISON Dunk has signed a two-year contract extension at Cambridge United.The wide midfielder joined the U's in July 2011 from Skrill South side Bromley.
Harrison has gone on to make over 80 appearances for the U's during the last three seasons, scoring 11 goals in the process.
The 23-year-old's new contract will keep him at the R Costings Abbey Stadium until the end of the 2015/16 season.
Speaking about his new contract, Harrison said: "I'm delighted to have signed a new contract with Cambridge at an extremely exciting time for the club. I hope there will be more exciting times and success for the club over the next couple of years."
U's Director of Football, Jez George, said: "We have been speaking to Harrison for some time about a new contract and are pleased to get everything sorted before the end of the season."
Jez continued: "Harrison is a player who epitomizes the values and philosophy of our club. He is not only is he an extremely talented footballer, he is humble, hard-working and honest. He has been a brilliant signing for the club since joining in 2011 and we look forward to him continuing to contribute to what the club is aiming to achieve."
