Keeper Joins U's

John Sullivan joins the U's on loan

Cambridge United are delighted to sign goalkeeper John Sullivan on loan from League Two side Portsmouth until the end of the season.

Coming through the Brighton & Hove Albion youth system, Sullivan signed a professional contract with the Seagulls in 2005, spending four years at the club.  United's new keeper has also had spells with Millwall, Yeovil, Colchester and AFC Wimbledon, making over 50 Football League appearances.  The 25-year-old goes straight into the squad for the U's trip to Braintree on Tuesday.

In the meantime, the club can confirm that Chris Maxwell has returned to Fleetwood Town at the end of his loan arrangement.  We would like to place on record our thanks to Chris for his contribution in the first half of the season and wish every success in his future career.

Finally, Will Norris has returned from his loan spell following a string of impressive performances for Royston Town and Jason Brown has left the club at the end of his short term contract.

Head Coach Richard Money and John Sullivan will be speaking to United Player this morning, stay tuned to cambridge-united.co.uk for the latest news and videos!
