Annual remembrance ceremony before Saturday’s game
Bury will be holding their annual remembrance ceremony before tomorrow's FA Cup first round tie with the U's.
Once the two teams have come out for the game, Standard bearers from the Royal British Legion, accompanied by two buglers from the 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, will march to the centre circle.
Once the players have formed up for the minutes silence, the last post will be played by the buglers as the Standard Bearers dip their colours in honour of those that have fallen. The last note of the last post will signify the reading of the Exhortation by club chaplain David Ottley followed by the minutes silence.
Once the minute silence is complete, the buglers will play the reveille. This will be followed by the reading of the Kohima Epitaph, signalling the order for the standard bearers to carry on and march off.
Please join Bury and Cambridge United in paying your respects to those that have fallen in various wars and conflicts over the years.
