U's held to 0-0 draw
Cambridge United came away from the Sperrin Brewery Stadium with a point this afternoon, following a 0-0 draw with Nuneaton Town.
A quiet first-half saw Luke Berry's effort blocked, Harrison Dunk and Tom Champion both firing wide for the U's. The hosts came close in the first period with Louis Molt forcing Chris Maxwell into a good save and Theo Streete's effort ended up in the side netting.

The U's had the ball in the net on 65 minutes, Luke Berry first to the rebound after Kelle Roos had saved Ryan Donaldson's free-kick, however Berry was ruled offside. Shortly after, United were denied a penalty, Harrison Dunk's cross appeared to be handled by Theo Streete but the Referee waved away the U's protests. On 86 minutes, United were again denied by a superb stop from Nuneaton 'keeper Roos, who saved point blank from Harrison Dunk after he was played in by Tom Elliott.
Chris Maxwell saved comfortably from Louis Moult's header in stoppage time.
