Cambridge United picked up a point this afternoon after a 0-0 draw at Luton Town.

The U's started brightly, with Richard Tait coming close early on and Nathan Arnold being denied by Luton 'keeper Mark Tyler.

The hosts came close through former U, Luke Guttridge, who fired just wide of Maxwell's right hand post.

Arnold and Donaldson both came close for the U's before half time, the half ending 0-0.

The U's started the second half brightly, forcing a number of corners in front of the travelling fans.

Tom Champion had his goal bound effort cleared off the line, Sam-Yorke also came close to giving the U's the lead.

Chris Maxwell was rarely tested in the second half, although the hosts came close late on.
